On Thursday, 16 July, Fortis welcomed project partners, consultants, the Double Bay community and friends to celebrate the official launch of Forum Double Bay.
The event marked the completion of the project and the introduction of a new workspace and hospitality destination at 377 New South Head Road. Guests gathered to explore the spaces, connect with the project team and experience Forum Double Bay alongside its ground-floor restaurant, Ca Phe Mai.
Reflecting on the milestone, Fortis Partner – Strategic Relationships & Distribution, David Mellick, said:
“A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the launch of Forum Double Bay and Ca Phe Mai. The energy in the room is everything we hoped for—a glimpse of what Forum is here to bring back to Double Bay: connection, community, and a place where great people can come together to work, meet, gather, and stay a while. To those who couldn’t make it, you were missed. The good news? Forum is here to stay, and the door is always open.”
“From the beautiful artwork and incredible hospitality to the conversations that carried long into the evening, Thursday night marked the beginning of something special. Whether you’re looking for a workspace, meeting room, great coffee, wellness offerings or simply a place to connect, we’d love to welcome you to the Forum community.”
Located at 377 New South Head Road, Forum Double Bay combines flexible workspace, meeting facilities, wellness offerings and hospitality within a single destination. Delivered under the development management expertise of Fortis and operated by The Commons, the project builds on the success of Forum Cremorne while responding to the changing needs of modern professionals.
The opening represents an important milestone for the project team and the wider Fortis team. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the launch of Forum Double Bay. We look forward to continuing to welcome the community into the space.
