On Wednesday 30 September, Fortis and Otello marked the commencement of construction at One Four Four Hutt with a groundbreaking ceremony. The milestone is particularly significant, representing Fortis’ first development in South Australia and its first joint venture with Otello.
The event brought together project partners, consultants, stakeholders and the Hon. Lucy Hood MP to acknowledge the collective effort that has shaped the project to date.
Speaking on-site, Fortis Head of Development (SA), Arthur Dendrinos, reflected on the significance of the milestone, and noted the strong market response to One Four Four Hutt, with more than half of the residences either exchanged or reserved prior to construction commencing—reinforcing both the vision for the project and the demand for thoughtfully designed homes in one of Adelaide’s most established lifestyle precincts.
The ceremony also recognised the collaboration between project partners whose collective expertise has brought the development to this point. Designed by DKO, One Four Four Hutt will deliver 44 residences and ground-floor retail, contributing to the ongoing evolution of the Hutt Street precinct.
Fortis extends its thanks to Otello, BLAG Commercial and the broader project team for their contribution to the project to date as One Four Four Hutt enters its next phase.
