Developer Fortis and Otello has locked in $17.7m in unconditional sales at its Hutt Street apartment project even before work has begun — a result representing 30 per cent
of the development.

The DKO-designed One Four Four Hutt, at 134-144 Hutt St on a 1241sq m corner site, will deliver 44 one, two and three bedroom residences, a penthouse collection and
ground-floor retail outlets.

Construction is expected to be completed in 2028. Demand has been driven primarily by downsizers and owner-occupiers wanting to remain in Adelaide’s southeast quarter, attracted by the precinct’s established amenity and proximity to Victoria Park.

Fortis’  head of development in SA, Arthur Dendrinos, said the sales reflected strong buyer confidence.

“The level of early commitment to the project reflects the confidence local buyers have in the Hutt St precinct,” he said. “Many buyers are long-term East End residents who want to stay connected to the neighbourhood.”

The project marks the company’s first foray in SA. The display suite closes at the end of July, with prospective buyers able to visit by appointment.
