The long-anticipated opening of Glen Bagnara’sClementine’ has arrived, as featured in Good Food this week.

Located on the ground floor of 67 Palmerston, this daytime eatery is accented with warm timbers, sea glass tiles and copper fixtures, all opening onto a shaded patio. Led by Bagnara, alongside General Manager Philippe Perrey and Head Chef David Yuan, this trio is bringing a refreshing culinary offering like no other to this underserved nook in South Melbourne. Dish highlights include the 24-hour slow-cooked Beef Short Rib served with kim chi fried rice and a Cured Salmon Millefeuille.

“We didn’t just want to do smashed avo and BLTs,” says Bagnara. “We wanted a bit more sophistication with the food.”

Clementine is open daily, caffeinating, and refuelling workers and Southsiders from 7.30am to 3pm.
