There’s a responsibility that comes with creating something so present in the daily lives of Rose Bay locals. Every detail of The Benson was chosen to feel immediately established within its streetscape, from the use of naturally aged stone, to the mature foliage grown from local soil.

Design

Our challenge was to create the feeling of an established, stately home with a completely new build. We chose limestone for the exterior façade; a natural stone with minute imperfections along its edges, similar to the stone buildings of Europe. The three established olive trees originally growing on-site have been preserved and will take centre stage at the new front door.

In partnership with architects MHNDU, with interior design by Hecker Guthrie and landscapes by Wyer & Co., The Benson has been designed as boutique in size, with 9 residences split over 3 levels. Construction is now 100% complete, with Lords Group expertly managing the build.
