The Gild is a considered collaboration between Fortis and Melbourne-based studios Telha Clarke and Florian Wild. BCentral, local builder with over 20 years of experience, is bringing the vision to life. Every detail has been considered with care, from bespoke lighting crafted by South Drawn to a commissioned artwork by Alex Walker that will animate the building’s entrance.

Vision
The Gild draws its inspiration from St Kilda’s Riviera heritage and the golden era of Fitzroy Street. Scalloped façade detailing, softened edges and cascading greenery evoke a coastal mood, while 65 metres of activated retail frontage weaves the building into the life of the street. Above, residents retreat to rooftop terraces with sweeping views across the city and Port Phillip Bay.
