Last week, our team were joined on site at Kangaroo Point by construction partner Stormvogel and Plus Architecture, marking the official commencement of works on this River House. This milestone project is set to redefine luxury living in Brisbane, with strong early demand highlighting its appeal—four out of the 14 apartments have already sold, totalling over $30 million in sales.
Fortis’s decision to partner with Stormvogel underscores a strategic response to the current state of the market. Led by Beau Lloyd, an industry veteran with over 18 years of experience, Stormvogel brings a wealth of expertise to the project. Lloyd’s experience includes luxury homes, townhouses and residential apartment towers. He has worked on multiple high rise tower developments up to $650 million in value and completed high-profile projects for clients including the Queensland State Government, CBUS Property and Brisbane Airport Corporation.
Commenting on their appointment, Beau Lloyd, Director at Stormvogel, said: “We’re excited to partner with Fortis on its maiden development in Brisbane, River House, and look forward to bringing this incredible design to life. Despite the challenges facing Queensland’s construction industry, our team is prepared to meet these head-on and deliver a development that will set a new benchmark for luxury living in Brisbane.”
Daniel Boman, Associate Director at Fortis, added: “In selecting Stormvogel, we sought a partner that shared our vision for River House—a project that exemplifies luxury, quality and innovation in design. We’re confident that Beau and his team at Stormvogel have the expertise and experience to deliver on this vision, ensuring that River House will be a standout in Brisbane’s luxury residential market.”With early works already in progress, Fortis’s collaboration with Stormvogel ensures that the River House project remains on schedule, reinforcing Fortis’s reputation for aligning with top-tier partners to deliver exceptional developments.
