On Wednesday, 25 March, Fortis welcomed more than 70 project partners, consultants, media and friends to celebrate the launch of The Gallery—our first permanent display destination at 440 Toorak Road. The evening marked an important milestone for our team and the broader Fortis community.
The Gallery represents a new benchmark for luxury off‑the‑plan purchasing in Australia. Located within a heritage corner building, the flagship space brings together our current residential collection, including Wiltshire and Carmine House at Richmond Square, and St Kilda’s The Gild.
Designed in partnership with Studio Kennon, the space reimagines the traditional display suite model. A series of interconnected rooms guides guests through each stage of the decision‑making journey, blending the sensibilities of an art gallery with the warmth of a beautifully appointed home and the refinement of a luxury retail experience.
During the launch, guests enjoyed a curated selection of drinks, canapés and grazing by Together Nourished, accompanied by live entertainment. Speeches from Fortis Design Manager, Manuela Millan, and Studio Kennon Founder, Pete Kennon, offered insight into the vision behind The Gallery and the collaborative process that shaped it.
This opening is a proud moment for Fortis—acknowledging the contribution of our project partners and reaffirming our commitment to enduring design in Australia.
