Fortis has recently announced a partnership with RH to open The Gallery at 19-27 Bay Street, Double Bay in late 2025, as featured in The Sydney Morning Herald.

As the world’s leading purveyor of luxury home furnishings, this will mark RH’s first retail and design gallery in the Asia-Pacific Region with one of the most immersive and inspiring physical expressions of the brand to date. With an end value of $140 million, the proposed building includes 3,385sqm of interior and exterior space across five levels – providing extensive ground floor activation with dual street frontages on Bay Street and Gum Tree Lane, and a glass-encased Rooftop Restaurant framing stunning views of the iconic Sydney harbour.

Ed Eve, associate director of Fortis, said, the introduction of RH to Double Bay will enhance the vibrancy of the precinct and “attract further luxury brands and operators to the area as a place to work, shop, dine, relax and experience”.

“We are passionate about the opportunity to create an inspiring space in Double Bay that will serve greater Sydney and Australia, and we are excited to partner with Fortis,” said RH Chairman and CEO, Gary Friedman.
