A Point Piper residence with $1.5m in designer pieces hits the market for $13m
A fully furnished sub-penthouse, replete with Hermès handbags has hit the market in the prestigious Sydney Harbour suburb of Point Piper.
With a price tag of $13m, the sub-penthouse is one of 14 apartments in the $130m PIPER development – a collaboration between Fortis and Danny Avidan’s Dare Property Group.
Fronting 2a Wunulla Road, the newly completed PIPER project comprises 14 premium residences, including two-, three- and four-bedroom configurations, across three levels.
Buyers include downsizers hailing from around Sydney’s inner Point Piper area as well as pied-a-terre seekers.
The four-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom sub-penthouse, Residence 11, has 270sq m of internal and external space that has been fitted out with high-end artwork and furniture as well as Hermès handbags.
Residence 11 is positioned just below the penthouse and was designed by MIM Design, while the interiors were styled by Jack Freeman, founder of Freeman & Co, whose selection of art and furniture, valued at $1.5m, is also available to purchase with the luxury residence.
According to Fortis, Freeman’s styling transforms Residence 11 into a turnkey sanctuary, blending soft pastel hues with collectable design pieces sourced globally, including from Milan’s recently held Salone del Mobile or Milan Design Week, an annual furniture fair in Italy’s fashion capital which is the largest trade fair of its kind in the world.
Freeman has added Italian bedding and Hermès crystal glassware to the apartment, along with a wardrobe featuring limited edition Hermès bags from Three Over Six.
The apartment also features Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, while additional services on offer in the sale include providing a fully stocked fridge on arrival.
“Unlike typical display apartments, this residence is layered with meaning and emotion,” says Freeman.
‘It’s a quiet luxury – soft, serene, and deeply personal.”
Among the standout pieces to be found in the apartment are lacquer and gold artwork by Amsterdam-based artist Eline Baas, exhibited for the first time in Australia.
PIPER is within easy reach of Sydney’s top private schools, the Royal Motor Yacht Club, the city centre and some of the finest dining and retail options on offer in the NSW capital.
Adding to its exclusivity, PIPER is one of the few buildings in Point Piper to offer a dedicated concierge service, providing residents with elevated convenience and personalised assistance.
Contracts have been exchanged on six apartments in the development so far as Fortis continues to control a carefully staged marketing release, so not all residences in the complex were brought to the market at the same time, and some are yet to be offered. Apart from Residence 11, a ground floor apartment is also on the market, listed for $9.9m.
Residence 2 offers 378sqm of combined internal and external space, complete with a private garden and swimming pool. It’s also the only apartment in the building with direct access from its own three-car garage.
The PIPER apartments are exclusively listed with Bill and David Malouf of Highland Double Bay Malouf.
Prices across the development range from $5.5m to $15m
