Melbourne’s master of pasta to open first Sydney restaurant

Another hospitality icon is moving into Bay St, as featured in Good Food this week.  Andrea Papadakis, the talented chef behind Melbourne favourites Tipo 00 and Osteria Ilaria has chosen our Ruby House development as the home of his very first Sydney restaurant.

Raised in Athens and inspired by summers in Crete, Papadakis’s culinary style is a fusion of Greek, French, and Italian influences. Hits from his Melbourne menus include octopus with ‘nduja dressing, pappardelle with braised duck and porcini, and tagliolini al nero with squid in a briny sauce.

We’re excited to welcome him and see how he enriches Double Bay’s vibrant dining scene.
